E36 steering lock adapter
Bolt-on steering lock adapters for BMW e36.
This is a budget friendly, but very functional and durable product, built to take abuse.
The set includes 2 adapters (R+L), 4 screws, 4 washers, and 4 nuts. For installation, only the adapters are needed. The tie rod needs to be shortened by 2cm to 2.5cm, and the end of the tie rod by 1.5cm (3.5 to 4cm on each side, 7-8cm for the entire car).
The toe alignment is set to 60 minutes of total toe-out (-0.30 per wheel) after installing the adapters, approximately -3 to -4 degrees on the original upper mount/m3.
